of Harmony Foundation International is to be the premier international agent through which individuals and organizations invest in the lifelong benefits of singing.

Harmony Foundation believes that singing improves lives, and we seek philanthropic partners who wish to share the gift of singing as a means of making lives more enjoyable, satisfying and meaningful. We provide funding for music education programs for students in middle and high school and college, as well as outreach programs in communities, to promote, develop and advance opportunities for lifelong singing.

We inspire donations, then grant to singing programs.

  • Provide singing and training opportunities to middle school through college-age youth

  • Provide support and resources to communities of singers and their leaders

  • Provide support and resources for health and wellness through singing

  • Provide singing and training opportunities to choral directors and singing educators

HFI is Barbershop's 'Community Foundation for Singing'

For 60+ years, HFI has been dedicated to barbershoppers. The Foundation’s philanthropic focus has evolved over time, but our dedication to barbershoppers has always remained the same. Harmony Foundation exists to promote barbershop singing and educate the public on the social, physical, and emotional benefits singing brings into people’s lives, and the positive ripple effects singing sends throughout the community. Our focus on the greater good of barbershop singing is as important today as it was 60 years ago. Harmony Foundation has always been, and always will be, donor-centric, and is committed to ensuring your investments in barbershop singing are used appropriately, as intended. That is our fiduciary responsibility to our donor family.
